Hydrovane Air Compressor Just Keeps Running

We were asked by our customer in the North of Scotland if we could give his compressor some TLC.

His father had bought it to run within the business all those years ago and he was reluctant to change it.

SIA Aberdeen uplifted it from site and brought it into our workshop in Aberdeen where our fully qualified engineers worked on it.

This Hydrovane air compressor model 33pu, part of the 3 series range that included 23, 33 & 43 models, has been the "workhorse" for many years in all types of industry throughout Scotland.

They were the first ever air compressor to win the coveted "Design Council of the Year Award" back in 1974.

After we fully serviced this 1976 manufactured air compressor, yes 43 years old, we fully tested it and it ran as if it was brand new, although aesthetically its been in the wars.

The distinctive sound made from this Hydrovane compressor brought a smile to both our Robert Morrison (service manager) and James Docherty (general manager) whom each have over 40 years experience working with Hydrovane air compressors.

So its back to its daily routine of supplying compressed air to a very appreciative and happy customer.
